Whats & Hows

Last year, some time during prayer, God led me to a beautiful feather I had picked earlier. After long staring at it, He said, “I never said ‘let there be feathers during creation’. I said let birds fly above the earth…” (Gen 1:20)

Immediately, I understood what He spoke deep within me!

Our role as believers, as children of God, is to SPEAK—to create and see the end of the things we want to see!

God never spoke the details of the quill feathers. He never said ‘let there be gills on the fish, and let the whales have blowholes. He never told the animals to walk on all fours, nor did He specify to the grass to have a green pigment called chlorophyll and breathing organs on trees called stomata.’

He didn’t speak of how the fish would breathe under water. They figured it out themselves… He didn’t start describing the nervous system and the circulatory system and the lymphatic system and the endo-excretion system when He made man. Man’s insides figured it all out by themselves!

He only said ‘let there be…'(the main thing He desired) And as He spoke, it became!

He told me, that once I speak (once you speak), your role is not to figure out the HOW of how what you desire to manifest will come to be! NO! It’s in the wiring of eternity, and the universe to handle that responsibility!

If you want that job, see it well, confess it, name your salary, mention your working terms, give thanks by faith, but don’t strain wondering whether your uncle or parent or friend will connect you to that specific workplace—no! You’ll only get more anxious!

Learn from God, and do likewise. See the house you desire, the car, the marriage, the future, the dream … And speak while you believe in your heart. If you save moneys to acquire some of these, then what’s the point of speaking or believing! Isaiah asked us to come buy without money. (Isa 55:1) Meaning the currency we need to buy is FAITH.

“But I tried that Biggie, it didn’t work!”

Well, James tells us, if we are double minded, we are unstable in all our ways and so we can’t get what we want. The universe is torn in betwixt, whether to go by what you’re speaking, or what you’re believing. Tongue and heart MUST AGREE!

God didn’t say ‘let there be light…’ Then had a second thought saying ‘but eh, won’t it be too much!’ … The light itself would wonder, ‘Should I manifest? … To what quantity?’

Notice that what stops the manifestations is us—the creators not having made up our minds.

‘I desire marriage, but am I ready completely? What if my husband holds me down?’

Girl! Get your act together! Notice your inability to come to a decision is what’s deterring the conclusion (the manifestation). Creation can only say to you, ‘when you’re ready… and decided…and responsible enough to handle what you desire, shall we attend to you…’

See the point?

That’s why we need to fix our thought pattern in order to have results. That’s why God took it upon Himself to be one with us, so that He teaches us by His Spirit (for example like He did with this example of the feather…) to enable us create after His own likeness.

But if you’re to leave with the main lesson, it is to be informed of your what, which is to speak and believe, and to know that the how, is not your lot to figure out. The things that are seen were all once unseen one time. As they dwell in the unseen realm, they groan, and heed … waiting for the manifestation of your decision and speech and belief, spunning them into your reality!

James 1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; [he is] a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Mark 11:23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
