How to have Good Success!

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

It is funny how the world has come up with many principles and books entitled, ‘7 laws on how to become a success…’ But God gave us one law; His book not departing from our mouths & us meditating on it! Why? His Book, is His Word. His Word is Him. Basically, if you observe all that He says, you’ll have success according to the degree with which you do so.

If you obey only 30% of what He says, you’ll have 30% of the success. If you obey & believe 60% or 100%, you’ll have success according to those percentages.

You might wonder, how about those who have succeeded without His Word? Well, I’d say, God has his definition of success (like a rich family would only ascribe wealth to maybe wearing Gucci) Of course even David and Job, at some point envied the wicked who got very rich and yet were not living according to God’s Word. But that was merely success, and not GOOD SUCCESS!

But I’m reminded that Jesus is the way. There’d be people who try to get rich by using not THE WAY. To those, the Bible says, their wealth is being laid out for the righteous. Those who seem to have become rich by other means have wealth that won’t last.

It is said that many of the world’s richest men are Jews, or have Jewish blood. This makes them fall into the inheritance of Abraham whether they know it or not. It’s sad if they don’t know it, for they’ll perish because of a lack of knowledge.

I’m not hating the wealthiest people. I’m simply compiling what I have read about in His Book. People like John Rockefeller gave generously. He lived according to Luke 6:38, which mentions that ‘give and it shall be given unto you multiplied…’ His wealth exploded because of obeying that one simple instruction.

Many wealthy men practise such principles even unbeknownst to them. His Word is like gravity; it is a universal law that works on everyone whether they like it or not.

Knowledge is priceless, and knowing something elevates you and sets you apart, just like Daniel was set apart due to His knowledge of interpretation of dreams!

Putting aside all the other benevolent philanthropists, you too can choose to start being wealthy, prosperous and successful today. Observe God’s word. That’s Him. If He says that’s the way you’ll get prosperous, them there’s no other better way. That’s His standard for anyone getting prosperous!

We can’t start debating with Him if He says that’s the way you’ll become prosperous. Just obey and I dare your life to remain the same. Forsake what the world might have taught. This is the God who made not only this world but different worlds invisible to your eye.

Also note; there’s such a thing as good success, and bad success. I think that’s the point I have been stressing. Having good success is having more than enough and yet not ruined by lusts and wants. It is taking care of thousands of people and yet staying humble. It is being in charge of industries and yet in good health so that one can enjoy the good things that come as a result of the wealth.

Bad success is having a lot of gold with complaining. Having a lot of money and yet addicted to drugs and wastefulness. It is being so rich in your lifetime only to lose the wealth in your old age, leaving your children and their children with no inheritance. It is desiring more and more and never being content at any level even with little.

The God-way guarantees the former. Having His word is to have God Himself. Observing His word is to observe God Himself, looking intently eye to eye, mind to mind, with Him. And how can you have seen God eye to eye, reasons with Him mouth to mouth, and think your life won’t be glorious! His paths alone drop with abundance and His encounters with us enrapture us, drowning us in His glory!

Don’t let His word depart from your mouth, and your success & prosperity will be GOOD & heard of in the entire earth!
