Pre-Arrival

Once upon a time, I read this, and it placed an entirely new perspective in my mind;

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

When He said ‘shall never die’, it’s true, as many have interpreted that He meant ‘eternal life’. But, if you showed that to a person who has never read it, they’ll definitely connect to ‘not going to the grave’.

That’s what I believed. And for ages, a conflict grew in my mind, that I was crazy to believe it.

Now, once again, that fairy tale is metamorphosing into a faith tale. The evidence is all around; The wars, the epidemics, sons turning away from their fathers, daughters from their mothers.

The gospel is starting to be preached in all corners of the earth, so that men would have no excuse. Those were the things that were said would happen before the Arrival!

Tiktok videos on Instagram reels I have seen, where characters hear the sounds of trumpets and either run or vanish! I like the way it’s wrapped in comic packaging soothes the alarming urgency, but it’s communication in session.

Various sermons are saying the same thing. Preachers allover the world somehow, are prophesying the same events even if they do not know each other… And that either causes me to rejoice or panic!

Rejoicing of course that THE King returns. Panic communicates the uncertainty of how long that will be, the questions—will I have reached everyone I was meant to & would all my dreams have come to pass? Or it’ll be hijacking and being swooped into the clouds without a single warning?

Will I be ready?

For that reason, I labour in prayer. So that my life, gets in sync with His great plans for me; plans to give me prosperity and an expected end! In so doing, I’ll be ready—I believe!

Will you be ready?

Jesus is asking, ‘Olokoka ddi?’ When are you getting heaven-woke?
