Be In The Room

Did you know our father the Patriarch thought he was blessing Esau? Well, he had doubts, but he blessed Jacob anyway! (Gen 27)

My father in the faith said, ‘Certain things happen to only those in the room.’

Look at the one twenty in the book of Acts. They stayed in one accord, in the upper room, praying until the day of Pentecost. Imagine one of them on that day decided to leave and go check on I-don’t-know, the relatives at home? He/she would have missed the baptism of the Holy Spirit!

Now, for the first story, Jacob was stealing. Why do we accuse him even? He tricked his brother first, and then for this, his mom plotted it all out. The latter, well these had been told to wait on the Holy Spirit.

Has God instructed you to avail yourself to a meeting? Did you respond with a yes? It’s not for his benefit for your information. The honor is yours!

Benny Hinn tells in his book The Anointing how God asked him to pray this one time. At a conference he spoke next, multitudes received healing. He went for lunch the next day and the urge to pray came again. He shook it off and spent time with his hosts

Evening came. Conference time! More people than the previous day! Many thirsted for miracles having seen those from day before! Benny stepped on the stage. Close to thousands of people were watching. He tried, but no power availed! Oh the shame!

There’s a room He was meant to have gone into, but refused. Let’s just say he never ever repeated the same mistake.

Has God asked you to fast for 3 days? Avail! Be in that room! Has He asked you to give to a cause? Avail! There’s a blessing awaiting in that room! Has He woken you up to pray at 3am? Avail! Secrets are awaiting for you in that room!

There’s a prayer call He asked me to set up in January. We pray 6-7am, Monday to Friday. Of recent, prophecies have been sweeping that call on two or three days in a week. They’ve been so heavy and to the description of everyone’s purpose present.

One time, what saddened my heart was the thought that I’d have missed one of them because that particular day I hadn’t felt like waking up to pray. But it all benefited me!

I remember speaking by faith that I’d receive a gift for a laptop way back in 2019 and early 2020. God led me to sign up for a leadership course. Halfway the year, it’s required as an assignment for students there to gift one another. My gifter got me the laptop I needed.

Now I thought deeply about it; what if I refused to listen to God? What if I had refused to enter that room?

Well I’ll … never know! All I know, Heaven was plotting good things for me.

Over to you; what room has God asked you to enter & you’ve still refused? It’s all more like faith without deeds being dead. Perhaps what you’re praying for is where God is asking you to enter!

Hollup!

Something just hit me; and I’m bawling in tongues! God’s just let me know that there’s a grace called favor, that can make the room move and find you! Look at David! He was miles away. Forgotten! But he was sent for. The room of royalty and kingship had seen his star and betrothed him to itself!

Joseph. His dream of his father and mother and siblings bowing to him—it hadn’t been concocted by him. God was dreaming for him! The room of preservation of nations and lives saw him and from Egypt it called. Yes, it wasn’t pleasant his getting there, but he still got there.

Look at it this way, Potiphar’s room didn’t seem worthy enough to hold him, so it shut its door. The prison’s room saw a bigger calling on Joseph whose glory it couldn’t hold. It had to give him up and shut its door too for His destiny’s door which led him into the palace!

May the Spirit guide your steps to be available when God calls you to a room. And may the room(s) meant for you, that you know nothing about, FIND YOU!
