Do the Work!

Many people share scriptures, and use KJV sounding English. But it can be so OFF. Peradventure (which means perhaps) they want to impress the crowd, but in the end, end up losing them!

Having studied the English, I tend to focus on those small misapplications. Many say ‘consciousness’ yet they mean ‘conscience’, or ‘conscience’ yet they mean ‘consciousness’.

What we don’t know is that our misuse or misapplication of words, on the other hand, can brush off the intellectual gurus of this time. You’d be the one who doesn’t care about what word you are using as you preach or give that motivational speech; but in that crowd there could be people much more educated than you!

What this means is, they are watching to see you botch it—like those mean Saduccees and Pharisees. Let them miss the message the first time; capture their hearts rather, so that they come back again and again because of your eloquence. Soon they’ll be hooked…and the message they missed the very first time, they won’t again!

To get to that; you’ll have to drop all slothfulness. God hates laziness! Many of us growing up claimed that the KJV bible was hard to read. Was it really hard to read? —Or were you so lazy to google the words you couldn’t understand! You didn’t want to do the work!

Last week I jumped onto Biggie’s Gospel Show, and I kept saying ‘I have forgotten where this scripture is, but it says somewhere…’

I’d feel the Spirit grimacing an saying, “Don’t let that excellence gap increase. Leave the message, for the person I meant it for, but, don’t make this a habit!”

There’s a reason Moses studied the Egyptian language, and hieroglyphics. Knowing the culture gained him some confidence on top of that that he had gained from Aaron being his spokesman, and the signs he would do.

There’s also a reason Daniel studied the Chaldean and Babylonian cultures. Standing in front of those multitudes required him to know part of their system! He had to do the work, learning all those foreign languages!

God needs you cunning and crafty as a serpent because He is sending you to a people that He is not willing to lose at any cost. It’s an educated people. There are mouths that bubble with too much liberalism and communism and human rights…

If you don’t know what those are, God won’t send you to a people educated in those arenas. If you love politics, It could be that God is sending you to a political people. Get to know all their antiques and glossaries and slang. As you do so, don’t you dare put His word aside.

An opportunity is going to rise up. You’ll win their hearts, you’ll ascend, you’ll be given the microphone… And the window God’s been preparing you for, will be wide open. You had better be ready my friend! Do the work!

Every worker is worth his wage. The hard workers have more and more people joining their churches or fellowships or businesses… Perhaps people are not coming to you because you’re lazy.

God is worried that if He gives them to you, they’ll starve along the way, because they won’t find food stored for them. He’s worried that you’ll punish them instead to go toil to remove weeds in the gardens He gave you!

God hates a slothful hand. It is written all over the book of Proverbs

I’m starting to think laziness is a spirit. Many of you want the power, you want the anointing, but waking up (even) as early as 6am for you to read the Word and pray is so hard! You don’t want to do the work! LAZINESS TO COOK MADE ESAU SELL (GIVE) HIS BIRTH-RIGHT!

You want to be a ‘father of nations’ but you don’t know that fathers are responsible for feeding their flocks.

Laziness can only be kicked out when your will submits & yields to the will of God (be it comfortable or not). On top of having a schedule, it’s very easy for me to pray because many a times, I hear God tell me, ‘I need you praying at such a place at 3pm’

Once I say yes Lord, it is enough, because I know that God won’t ask me to do something beyond my capability and also, He’ll clear everything that was going to be at that time.

I’ve found that even if sleep is so addictive, because I’m yielded to him, and the alarm clock goes off 10 minutes before the actual time, sleep abandons me. It has understood that the giver of sleep has summoned me. It has an understanding if you have reached a certain dimension of yielding.

Nothing then can stop you from walking in God’s will for you if you yield. Not even distance could stop Philip from reaching the Eunuch. Yielding to His will will drive you to do the work! And yet it won’t be you doing the work but Him…

(Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for [His] good pleasure)

So, if it’s politics God has called you to, learn whatever…

However, since all of us have been called to preach the good news, you had better understood every word for yourself. If there’s a word you find in the scripture and truthfully you don’t know what it means… Stop! Find out what it is, and return! Do the work!

You have to be a workman APPROVED—

‘2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth’

To get approved; do the work! God wants to approve you, as he walks the journey of approval with you. Remember it’s Him who works in you!

Let him hold your hand. Like a child in kindergarten, he’ll TEACH you how to write and color, but you have to get to school and into the class first, to find the TEACHER!

It’s not bad to dream, but if only we were willing to do that much work…

Proverbs 13:4 Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper…

I know this is a microwave generation. Many want it fast there and then. But the laws can’t be bypassed! Genesis 8:22 says that while the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.

Seedtime was when Ryan began that gruesome training & dieting years ago. This is his harvest! He did the work!

Your harvest as well is scalable. For beyond doing the work, there’s the notion of how much work you have done. The more you plant, therefore, the more you’ll reap! A person who advertises more will have more market than one who’s working but stopping at that. The christian who’s praying daily and fasting twice a week will have different results from he who prays on Sundays and fasts once a month!

So get to work, the law of harvest is waiting for you on the other side!
