Christ at Golgotha’s thought;
“Don’t think for a moment
I never felt the pain
You can’t imagine
The hurt and the shame
They put the nails through my hands
Pierced my side, please understand
It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy but it was worth it
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy but it was worth it
I didn’t have to do it
But I did it anyway
‘Cause I really love you
So much I took your place
I died for your sins, yes I’m the one
Don’t take it lightly, what I’ve done
It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it
Oh, it wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy but it was worth it
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy but it was worth it
I left my throne, my purpose was the cross
Shed innocent blood, I paid the cost
It was worth it
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy but it was worth it (but it was worth it)
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy
It wasn’t easy but it was worth it”

Ah, Good Friday;
My musings; Only when a seed is buried in the ground, does it DIE first and then flourish into a plant, and that plant brings forth fruit; and that fruit contains perhaps 100 seeds
Now, imagine that plant exists for 20 years, and in each year it brings forth 20 fruits monthly. That’s 40000 seeds from one seed. And each of those seeds can repeat the same up until it multiplies into 40000 too.
Jesus knew that to multiply, He had to let go of His will. That to multiply, He had to die to self. Now look at how many billions know Him? For over centuries, the 40000 seeds have been replanted to cause 40000 more;
Seeds that are not under the soil can’t multiply, because they won’t get an opportunity to die! Laying down your life, means you’ll forsake many things, and be in the ground alone, for a while; you’ll forsake some things, some relationships, some careers & some programs!
If you’re finding it hard, then it’s high time you knew; that a seed is your nature! 1 Peter 1:23 states you’ve been born again of the incorruptible SEED, which is the Word of God; and the word was God (John 1:1)
If the Word is your nature, and it’s a seed, then you too are a seed. To get more seeds therefore, you’re going to need to die…and then multiply!
It won’t be easy as Jesus mentioned through CeCe. But it’ll be worth it! Just imagine a whole continent’s worth of plantations filled with you multiplied (which isn’t actually you, but Christ who lives in you and yet not you Gal 2:20)
Embrace death (to self, and your agenda) like the seed you are, and exceedingly abundantly you’ll increase on and on for generations! For the harvest will always be more than the seed sown!
That’s what I learnt of the cross, today!
