MAKING IT COUNT: DISCIPLESHIP

Uwimana Maureen is a young lady I look at and I’m amazed at how much God can do in a person. I met her in year one at campus in 2015. She was from a catholic background. If at home, a picture of Mary was brought up on Sundays, freedom was here, as no parent was going to force her to pray.

The girl could PARRRRTY! My God! Every talk of hers went around guys, clubs, and having wild fun until … she met me. She wondered what boy wasn’t into that. She brought herself trying to win me over to the ‘Dark Side’ (😂Star War fans are you there?) but…it had been a set up.

Momo, as we call her, used to hear my crazy stories of having dinner with God, or having to ask the Holy Spirit what I’d wear on a particular day… & I don’t know if she either found me more weird or more mystical? Should I stay away? Or should I investigate?

She kept on being around me…instead

Slowly her life changed. Year one down, she was no longer interested in parties. She wanted this God I knew. She stayed around. But she didn’t want the weirder parts. Year two went by, and a weirder thing hit her. She was ashamed of it, at first, but came to understand the secret to deeper insights of God. She spoke in tongues.

Year 3,4,5; Momo started a fashion business! Momo is a leader! Momo who hated reading books now loves doing so! Momo can break down heavy scriptures! Momo understands this tithe thing! Momo knows how to love the Christ way! Momo is teaching others all she learnt from me! Momo can call me as well excited on how she had just talked to God in 3 persons, literally! She confesses to me often, that discipleship is not just telling others what to do, but living it!

‘That’s how I learnt most of these things!’

I also see a pattern of association here. People can be able to receive an anointing for a specific thing if they only associated with you closer, and longer. There’s a divine acceleration to supernatural encounters or experiences, that happens in their lives; which could have taken more years to acquire if they did it all alone.

What I’m I saying? LIVE THE WORD! Preach, teach, heal! Don’t hide any of what a believer ought to be… And that is how they’ll know you… by your fruit; your way of life. And they’ll imitate you, as you imitate Christ! And so, in honor of a life that turned 360° for good,

Happy Birthday Momo. You become a strong nation. Many are learning what you learnt, and passing it on!

You receive lineages of spiritual children and grand children and great grand children; who are anointed in power and the Holy Spirit. Who go about doing good and oppressing all the works of the enemy!

Please Note; It took 5 years to get here dear reader. Forests don’t grow in one day & Elephants give birth after 18 months of pregnancy!
