Where Will You Go?

The world mourns the loss of a hero.

First it was Kobe Bryant and yesterday (28th August) it was Chadwick Boseman…

The superstar had been diagnosed with stage III colon cancer back in 2016.

Nevertheless the 21 Bridges actor continued bearing the pain and bringing you blockbusters like Black Panther and Endgame…until it hit stage IV.

It’s so sad that the Wakandan flag raises at half mast today, but I tried to put myself in his shoes and asked myself, ‘Where’s Chadwick now?’

If you were him, what would you be seeing? Would it be 6 million tweets sent out to you saying ‘Rest In Power’? Would it be, ‘What they said all this time was true indeed?’

I’m not certain where Kobe or Chadwick are right now, as we’ve all come to the realization that we get to live forever…

The better question however, is; where will you go when death comes knocking at your door? Yes, you reading this! Where will your mama go? Where will your sibling go? Where will your best friend go? Where will your employee or employer go? Where will your neighbor go? Who will be on the other end to welcome you?

The certainty is all we need!

Agape is the love of the soul! It’s also God’s kind of love! That means if you love someone the God kind of way, you’d care so much to know where their souls would lead on after the transition…

If you love yourself so much, you’d care so much where your soul would go on after death…If you love your friend or family member so much, you’d care so much where his or her soul would go on after death…

Therefore, don’t just love till death does you apart, love to the part where your conscience is reconciled to eternity…

“Love your close ones or you with this end in mind; Certainty of not just their peace after death, but of perfection of love bearing no ounce of fear!”

For this to occur, one ought to start by connecting, to the One without whom their soul could not have received breath! If you’ve connected with Him, then you best connect others to Him…

For He knows you by name, and He’s got a tatoo of you in his hands…

And while on the other side, albeit men try to hold on your memories here, you realize time won’t stop to mourn you…

It tocks on, and another person dies…and men have to quickly dry their tears for you and create fresh ones for the new deceased…

But Oh how we won’t need tears, if we each receive that certainty!

… Jesus is that certainty!
