Throne Room

On the weekend of 1st November, the Lord gave me great unrest. He put a desire on my heart that burnt up within my bones! He gave me a vision. Thousands gathered; Kings and Queens. Sons and Daughters.

There was a time when battles were fought by song! They were never even fought! They were won before the actual battle ever embarked…

It’s no longer wars of flesh. It’s no longer wars of physical devices (even though these might still exist in certain parts of the world)… The wars today are against forces of darkness, invisible and not seen. Principalities and powers…

Nevertheless, that was not what made my heart burn that night! What made it race was God as King. It hit me recently, that I had never related to God as my King INTENTIONALLY!

Many a times we relate to Him as a needs provider…not even as a father! For if we knew He was, we wouldn’t beg him for things He has already provided. Relating with God as Father, opens our eyes to the magnitude of love we’ve been drowned into.

Relating to God as King, opens our eyes to the magnitude of authority we’ve been given & entrusted with! Remember the centurion in Matthew 8? He told Jesus to only speak His word & his servant would be healed. Only a man under authority could understand that.

If a police officer stopped you along the road, even if you didn’t do anything wrong, you’d pullover. There’s a degree of authority he bears, and we honor it by doing what he says lest we get into trouble.

Today, we have a Field marshal, then a General, then a General Lieutenant, a Major and so on! But God’s degrees don’t work like that. One’s level of degree is directly proportional to the amount of time spent with God and his word!

The more time spent with God, the more revelation, experience and understanding one receives. The more understanding one receives, the more authority one discovers that he or she has been given!

It’s like education. The more time spent reading & understanding a subject leads to promotion in rank. From high school, university comes next. From the diploma, a bachelor’s comes. The more time in school, a Master’s follows. More time, then a PhD comes running one’s way!

When we walk in the authority which God gave Jesus, which Jesus gave us, we too, like the police officer can pick out the demons driving over speed limits on the roads of God’s people and in our families and get them imprisoned for good, and banished from our roads of life!

We can only perceive this authority when we understand how ALMIGHTY He that gave it to us is!

The reason my heart burned was because we weren’t having enough time with God as worshippers. Rehearsal is kind of a duty these days. Worship is timed during service. And that’s out of our control, but what if it wasn’t as limited…

It’s understandable, that the next service has to come in, but what if we created more time for God to do whatever He wants using this singing! In the old testament, the praisers sang after hearing a prophecy of promise that God would fight for them.

The promise was Jesus. He came. He won for all of us. Having Him guarantees us all we need in life. And so what else is there to sing for apart from Expression of gratitude to what God’s done!

As we worship, God will reveal to us how much authority He gave us! He told me that He’s power is available. It just needs to be stirred into the physical world by the worshippers!

Worship is different from Praise in such a way that praise is usually oriented by a reason; ‘I praise you for I’m uniquely and wonderfully made.’ It has a reason behind… Worship differs in one facet. There are no reasons attached.

When the elders said ‘Holy Holy Holy is the Lord, which was, which is, which is to come…’ There was no reason causing them to open their mouth. There was no giving of thanks. They were just, adorning & adoring.

Worship is selfless. We take eyes off ourselves and just behold God as He is, splendorous and majestic, awe-filling and indescribable… No strings attached… Prostrations and adorations… With the beasts, and the elders, in the presence of lightnings and thunders… And the 7 spirits of God, near the crystal sea!

Now that’s relating to God as ‘King’ and not merely calling Him ‘King’ for many times we don’t mean it… We don’t understand what the word ‘King’ means. But when we worship…God Himself unveils this mystery…

And as we sing, healings happen, Words of wisdom & knowledge shall be received, God’s tangible glory is experienced, Sweet smelling fragrances rise up to God, Angels shall be heard backing us up (their feathers shall drop during the sessions)

Salvations be, Destinies are re-alligned, Futures cease to be mysteries, Spouses find themselves, Jobs chase men down, The dead rise up, The word becomes tangible, Kings approach our rising,

God shares what He sees with us, He shares what He thinks with us, The Elders bow with us as we sing, All creatures stop in their tracks and tremble and revere The One we sing for,

Great peace erupts allover Uganda, Battles are won & enemies defeated, God’s love becomes tangible, Our eyes flood with understanding, The burden of bearing a double portion as Co-heirs is fathomed, and what no eye has seen nor ear heard nor mind has imagined becomes flesh!
