Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]. James 1:6-8
Many say the Word has not worked for them in many ways but that’s not true. I believe it hasn’t worked, either because in that Man’s heart doubt crawls, or that man hasn’t understood God’s word, or He/she has been listening to the wrong word! Let’s uproot this weed of doubt then.
1 Pet 1:23, states that you are born again of the incorruptible seed, which is the Word of God! That means if your mother is the Word then you too are Word, just like if your mother is human, you are human.
Now, you being born again of the Word guarantees that you have the Word in you, on you and it’s what you are made of. Thus, your word is probable to producing results only.
If you ever doubt your word, draw from your Father who spoke trees to be. If you doubt His word, then try to ram into a tree and see if its real! If it is then His word indeed produces real results and His word is your substance.
You too can ask Him being sure that He is able to bring it to pass, or you too can yourself… as long as you believe you have no limits and no reason to doubt! Refuse to doubt!
Mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].
The antidote to doubt is continuously meditating on such scriptures. And soon, it’ll be out!
Stay blest!
