Today as I played Kings and Queens by Brooke Fraser Ligertwood on the home theatre, my cousin got worried! She came running in to the living room. She had been doing the dishes, and the spoons were bouncing up and down on the sink!
The water was ruffling with ripples allover. The bass from the speakers was shaking the entire house! I heard God say to me,
“Sound waves are an Invisible energy, but there presence can be manifested! As you speak, you create child! Sound waves from your tongue might be invisible but their result is evident!”
WOW!
The music was playing…but you don’t see bubbles of sound coming out floating… It’s the spoons getting displaced from their rest positions that show that the sound is alive & that it’s got power to cause effect!
But what sound makers do we have as men & women! The most effective is our mouth, and within our mouth; The Tongue! God tells us in His Word that the tongue has incredible power. We can use our tongue to bring blessings and life or curses and death.
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
The saying “sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me” is simply not true. Our tongues can be the most difficult thing to control and leave us with great regret if we use our words to hurt.
1 Peter 3:10 For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good–whether apparent or not] keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile (treachery, deceit).
Sound is also energy and energy is force! The definition of force (one of them, is;) Something or anything that has the power to produce an effect upon something else..
Meaning, what you say, the sound of it, has the power to produce an effect upon you (your general life) Say bad words and though they are invisible like the waves from our home theatre speakers, they’ll be manifested in another part of your life, usually the future!
Say good words and the same will happen! It’s hard for pitiful people to speak good words. Are you one of them? Those who say ‘I was born into poverty…life is hard…I have weak bones…?’ Turn!
Proverbs 16:24 says, Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. You can create health with words! Are you undoing everything you prayed for with your words?
Maybe you are unwell and praying for healing but you spend the day declaring how sick you are. You ask God for a job but spend the day giving your friends the reason why you will not get it.
You ask God for a husband but keep declaring how all men are dogs. If you’re going to enjoy this life, you have to be consistent in speaking the good things you want to experience even when you might experience a bad day!
Matthew 15:11 It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiled, but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles [him].
What I want you to learn today is, that even if you just say stuff that seem far away, they are closer than you think! You might not see it yet, but somewhere you are making spoons bounce & waters to ruffle!
You’ll have what you say! God said let there be light and light, he got! What are you saying…?
