I came across sets of words that end with phile. This one spoke to me. I’d rather rain because I know the sun will always be there above the clouds. Let it rain, it’s temporal, I always tell my cousin who hates mud.
In a taxi on my way to L’O, I wasn’t to arrive for an extra one and a half hours, but I’d feel so excited deep within, seeing a whole tsunami looking like sea of dark clouds coming up ahead! I also jerked excitedly whenever I saw lightning! Between the eucalyptus & coniferous forests which ran fast backward…
I also enjoyed looking at these!
Soon it started raining! I watched the rain hit the sides of the taxi, and immediately as a child would, I asked God, why do I love rain so much? Why do I love trees and lightning and the moon?
He clearly replied,” … Because I am ONE WITH YOU!”
I melted as He went on to say…
“I am an astrophile, a lover of stars, I am a Dendrophile, a lover of trees, I am a ceraunophile, a lover of lightning and thunder, I am a Thalassophile, a lover of seas, I am a limnophile, a lover of lakes, I am a logophile, I love words, the right words… I am a Photophile, a lover of light and a selenophile, a lover of the moon! These are some of the things you’ve loved as well, am I right?”
“Yes, yes, yes!” I jumped up as though on a sugar rush!
“Well, in 1 Cor 6:17, you know if you’re joined to me you become one spirit with me? (I nodded elatedly excited for whatever word was proceeding next) So, that means you’ll LOVE what I love! We are ONE, We are ONE. I feel what you feel, you feel what I feel! We are Singular!”

Goosebumps raced up allover my body!
“I created these, and I said It was good. It’s perfect, that’s why you love it! You love it because you’re now One with the same Spirit that created all of these!
Also…(He added as I clapped at a bright lightning shot) You love these… Because they represent your nature! Let me elaborate… Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
You love the stars because they talk about you. They reflect you, they mirror you, they take a form of you that can’t be seen, but is true! They describe you!
The goosebumps were out! Now the hair on the back of my neck was erect!
Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. You love the trees, no wonder! They represent your seasons of life! You’ll always be fresh, and fruitful.
To wither means to dry up because of lack of water…You know no drought. You can’t dry up because you are the water as well!

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Now son there are many kinds of waters, salty, dirty, clean…etc. You are the Living waters! Note it says rivers… affirming my love of much of rain, and the seas and lakes in you! The moon—ah, I see you talk to. I remember when you wanted to be it, but it instead said it envied you! The moon reflects light from the sun! Though you’re the very light itself, the moon reminds you who you’re true source is…
You love light because Matthew 5:14 says Ye are the light of the world. You love words because you’re Word itself, (1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.)
You love because I love! You create because I create! We are One! That’s the rationale for your loving these! They represent who you are!
I recovered hours after this conversation had ended…
This comes to encourage you child, that being created in God’s image is for all humans, but sharing God’s feelings and thoughts, affections and desires… is for only those who are reborn by His very Spirit!
