So, I’m sure you’ve heard of these famous wonders of the world! The Tower of Pisa, The Pyramid of Giza, The Colosseum in Rome, Great wall of China, Chichen Itza, The golden gate bridge, The Taj Mahal… Etc
According to different sources, there are more than seven nowadays! I sat next to someone in a taxi who brought them up. Then it hit me after I thought about them for a while!
The Spirit shed some light upon a hidden matter here! As its claimed, The Seven Wonders! (I’d wanted to entitle this ‘The Eighth wonder, but It’d lessen the glory that man carries)
A question came up! ‘Who made the Seven Wonders?’
Man, man, man, man, man, man & man!
Doesn’t that make man A Wonder behind the Wonders. Men make beautiful things and other men behold their beauty. The flaw is, men focus on the object beyond the maker. They praise the art beyond the artist!
They forget the idea maker, who could have been shunned more than a billion times having had his idea called fake or impossible! What does this speak of man! That man is creative! He is a great idea generator! A faculty of masterpieces!
You are that man or woman! Don’t despise yourself! You are a wonder as unto many..
(Psalms 71:7 I am as a wonder and surprise to many…)
You’re an external excellency! You are a joy to look at! You’re wonderful! You’re beautiful! You’re very special! Man invented bricks and jewelry and cars and planes but yours are greater ideas! Yours is a superb and sublime mind!
But as you jubilate in this liberty, of knowing what a Wonder you are…Don’t forget The Other Wonder behind Wonders!
If men are as smart as they are, if their ideas are that phenomenal…if their minds think so creatively, then how much more, He who made men…
How much more He, who made you…
In His image…
And very likeness…
