Psalms 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil–for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep.
Do you know God? By ‘know’ I mean, do you really know that He knows about it all? He knows about the event coming ahead! He knows the venue it’ll take place! He knows what deadlines you are working with!
He knows that you’ll need to use air mode of transportation! But how many times have you taken matters into your hands! How many times have you taken the wheel out of his hand and back into yours!
How many times have you lost trust in Him! Remember all He brought you through! He knows you need to move out! He knows that baby is on the way! He knows you’ll need a crib, pampers & Johnson products…
He knows you have a report proposal by that day in June! He knows the right time for you to get married! He knows the right day you’ll move into that house! So drop the anxiety! Whether you worry or not, He’ll still bring it to pass in his time!(Ecc 3:11)
So why don’t you just picture the end in mind! That you’ll have all the provision you’ll need! Sieze to worry about things child!(Matt 6:26-28, Phil 4:6)
But like all events, time is crucial! Sometimes we are moving at a faster speed than God’s time! He’d have put the luncheon at 2 sharp, but we are still taking photos at a venue far from the reception at 1:59pm!
Or, He’d have placed cake cutting at 7pm, but you, you want cake at 4pm…just half way the afternoon of the wedding! The guests will call you crazy!
In these scenarios, He sees an opportunity to implement two things —Either faith to quicken… Or rebuke in patience! When we are behind His schedule: He’ll apply pressure! Pressure we can hardly bear… Only if you’re in His great peace (Psa 119:165, Isa 26:3) can you hear what He has to say!
The pressure, will provoke you to arouse FAITH! Yesterday: I was told by my travel agent that I needed 600 grand by 11am today to clear my airticket or else I could’ve kissed my trip on Tuesday good bye!
I panicked abit…and when doubt tried to Creep in, look at what He brought up
Hebrews 10:23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
He’d prophesied through someone that I’d be on that plane! I held fast onto that word…and depended on faith! I had 11pm-11am to work with! 100 grand came in at night! 400 grand came in at 8:30am! The rest came in at 9:00am! I was done paying it!
I had 2 whole hours to spare! And I’d see God smiling back! For the second scenario, all He needs you to do is to TRUST Him and be patient! Do others have it already? Don’t worry, yours is on the way! His Timing…Remember?
This is just here to let you know that God wants everything! Not only your life, but to be your life’s manager as well! He delights in worrying on your behalf! He wants you to chill! Sleep! Let Him do the Work! Let Him run your money channels! He’s all knowing! He can know whether it’ll rain or shine! He’ll enjoy running around ensuring all goes as planned!
That’s what He’s here for!
