According to a recent discovery, I figured, that even Christians do not give God full access! They let God in when they so desperately need something and when it arrives they tell Him, ‘Boy, bye!’
I have grown fonder of His Spirit! He’s so emotional! He makes your body pop goosebumps when God soothes you. You run crazy in love when adoration mode comes on!
He then spills secrets of ancient! Secrets of the deep! God’s very own secrets…and even if it all seems colorful and lovely, He then tells you something that finds you off guard!
I can’t say off guard if your relationship with Him is upward & upward only! In that case, He’s knowledgeable enough to know whether you’re ready to hold onto a secret or not! He knows whether you are capable of understanding weightier truths or not!
Anthony Birulu….a close mentor of mine, spoke of how He heard an inward witness back in the day, when He met Suzan! IT BECAME KNOWN TO HIM, THAT SHE’D BE HIS WIFE! And He told her! She too had the mutual testimony and they never wasted time…but jumped into the matrimony!
How easy was that! No years wasted of chasing the wrong person! God orchestrated their meeting, and made all else dim in their eyes! They’ve been happily married now for over a decade I think! Still drowning in Love daily!
Notice the verse above says all things! I mean The Spirit is God, and isn’t God all knowing!
What trick did The Birulus use? No—child…The Spirit spilled a secret from God! He can take a sneak peek from the far future you see, and whisper it to you… But how will you regard it! Will you call him a liar (when He tells you something you might not like)? Yet He’s not (Num 23:19) and can never be!
What if He tells you something you may not enjoy hearing, and yet it is in God’s will! Most of us do not yield at that point! We take the steering wheel back!
‘You want me to leave my job and go work for The Church?’ ‘How dare you tell me to dump this rich guy and go for cheap brother so and so!’ ‘But God…she is not that attractive!’ ‘This must be the devil…I rebuke thee Say-tan!’
Those are some common reactions to what The Spirit might be telling us to do! Do you know why Jesus said,‘I’ll leave you with a Comforter…’ It’s because He knew that some decisions would be hard to implement! But this is The Spirit of The Lord God of alllllll we see!!! How can He be wrong! He’ll comfort you in such tough decision-making times! And you’ll know what to do, as you know all things!
When do we hurt The Spirit? We hurt Him when we walk in disobedience! We hurt him when we doubt Him! We hurt him when we call him a liar…and we need to apologize… That’s normal to a close friend! There’s nothing like never hurting your friends at all, in the History of Friendships…& you know we all need to say sorry if we are to reinstate our friendships!
Trust Him! He won’t let any of your steps slide! And do not only consult him only about the the job and shut him out concerning your marriage! That’s another way of hurting Him—Giving him freedom of speech in one area of your life and muting Him, in the other 99!
Child please, He isn’t just a human friend… He’s your road guide to Destiny! Destiny won’t have only one part of you! It needs to have all the 99 sectors of your life, aligned to Him, surrendered to Him…all details of your life exposed, defenseless & naked before Him. And He’ll fix them & lead you to wholeness & an Expected end!
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
