We often pray ‘Lord give me a good job!’ ‘Lord get me that job?’
But perhaps, it’s a wrong prayer! Yes God will perfect all that concerns you! (Psa 138:8) But If you view it from the Spiritual realm, a realm with out time limits, you can as well say God’s perfected all that concerns Me, for to Faith, the future is already now!
I once prayed that prayer, until I realized that having a job is just part A of the prayer…Now earning, is the real deal! How many folk walk this earth, claim to have jobs, and yet earn nothing per month!
How many claim they have jobs, and yet haven’t been paid for 6 months…You then realize God gimme a job is not the best prayer! Yes God might give it to you, because he permits it! He gave the Israelites a King when they begged him one, having lost their sight of the real King who was God! He permitted it, but it wasn’t His PERFECT will!
What’s the PERFECT will then? The perfect will is 1.Create the Job you want, 2. Command the Job you want… And 3.Call the job you want!
Gone are the days of waiting for interviews! Gone are the days when you have to try out a billion jobs before you discover the right one at 65 years of age!
Do you have a desire in your heart, something you are so passionate about..perhaps that’s you’re God-given sector…That’s to say if you’re passionate about food…perhaps you’d prosper well in baking, or in chef-ness! Start right there!
Did you study something that you’re so passionate about…art? Or architecture maybe…still start right there!!!
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
God called Abraham a father before he even had a son! And this same God created you in his image! Why? He wants to see himself in you! He wants to see you create things the way He does!
So how to do it;
Firstly, know that all things are alive! In Mark 11, Jesus cursed a fig tree!!! It had answered him back first! Go read it, I’m not lying! I know trees are living things, but science didn’t teach us they live in such a way as talk back to people!
But God justifies its livingness… In the beginning, He said ‘Let there be Light!’ And bwissssshhhhhh….there it was!!!! This means the light heaaaaaard Him call it! So it had to avail itself without fail!
Child am here to tell you, that you too carry the same authority! You were created in his Image! So…what you’d do is;
Write down a list of how you want your job to be! What terms and conditions do you want at your workplace? How much do you want to earn? Yes, yes I mean it, write down those 6 zeroes- and two digits before them…and then OPEN your mouth like your Father in Heaven did…and read then out loud, daily….believing that all you SAY will come to pass…..
(Mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].)
By daily I mean daily… Even when it seems like it’s taking forever…Keep confessing it! For there’s power to bring life in your tongue!
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
In January 2018, I took on this challenge. In February, no job came, In March no job came, in April there was hope…I made 6 phone calls but no job came…In May I continued proclaiming what I had written and had now memorized in my mind… And on 31st… My phone rang!
I got the job of what I was passionate about..Yes the salary is what I’d wanted, and the terms and conditions—Boy… I had wanted to work from home…You know how the rains can disorganize public means transportation… And guess what… My employer (who prefers me to call him Partner) proposed I work from home…and save on transport expenses daily, and only come to office where need be! “We gat Emails!” He said!
Myyyyyy God! I was not so surprised anyway…For from January I kept saying ‘My job is wonderful! It earns me BIG! Even when I don’t earn in a month, it’s previous income can take me through and more…It permits me to work from anywhere…Even at home! My employers are the best in this world! They are young and funky! My Organization is a Brand out of billions! It’s star shines brightest in the sky and rich wise men come from abroad searching it!…..’
These were my kinds of confessions! Don’t trouble God! He’s waiting on you! He’s here for better issues! You can get the job of your dreams all by yourself! His spirit is there to tell you…What you’d declare… If He sees you’re going for the wrong confessions…That’s his Job…To put you back to the write things to write and declare and believe according to His will!
And you’ll not suffer to make money! You’ll be diligent and mean men won’t come near you! You’ll bask in the presence of Kings (Prov 22:29) Your gifts will make room for you, and you’ll stand before More Kings and great men all your Life! (Prov 18:16)
Just create what you want! Yes, even for that dream spouse, the dream house, the dream children!!!! Speak good things! Speak great things! And you’ll eat the fruit thereof….
