Also still that portion of Mark, Jesus meant that you carry precious treasure in you! Precious things require precious vessels to convey them!
God needed to turn your whole nature, for He was coming to reside in you forever! He couldn’t come into your bungalow, He made you new…He made you a castle (new bottles) and got rid of your bungalow (wineskin) because…. He’s a King and Kings reside in palaces!
So you’re a temple of God (1 Cor 6:19) So our bodies are precious to Him! Living sacrifices they are…and so we shouldn’t stoop low…we shouldn’t fall short of God’s divine purpose!
That means we can’t just sleep around with someone God hasn’t CHOSEN to be our spouse! That’s His PALACE you’re defiling…God is being conveyed inside you!
And lastly…
2 Timothy 2:20-21 “In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets–some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing”
Imagine, guests come and you’re the dustbin! NO! Refuse to be that! Choose to be the fresh bottle of wine God brings out when they come around Home!
Choose to be the Glass and Plate He pulls out every time a guest comes around! THAT CAN ONLY HAPPEN WHEN WE FEED ON THE WORD DAILY And make it dwell in us RICHLY…
(Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.)
That’s when we’ll qualify to be that perfect Untensil! Not a kaveera wineskin with dirty finger prints and a straw… But the fresh 30cm tall golden sealed wine bottle! It begins from a place of desiring to be that perfect untensil and also finding out the making of that untensil by reading the word!
What will happen is… God will make you a Utensil fit to serve anyone! Be it a child, an adult, a widow, a widower, a sinner, a man older than you, a lady younger than you.. You’ll speak the RIGHT word unto them…as evidence in Isaiah 50:4
“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.”
And being exhorted and edified they’ll praise your God in Heaven!
You’re New Wine! You’re A New Bottle! The wineskins are gone away…Behold All things are New!
