Mark 2:21-22 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
Now New Wine must be put in New Bottles! New Wine is New Power! And the Kingdom of God is not in word but power (1 Cor 4:20)
God’s presentation of Power and redemption has to come well dressed!
… You won’t tell people _God is a Rich God who makes us rich_.. When you show up in torn clothes, and creased faces! They won’t believe you! Show up in Rich clothes and fancy makeup and they’ll believe you!
God desires us to show up and represent Him well✊🏼…
You won’t say _the Word worketh_ when it hasn’t for you! You won’t say _God heals_ when you’re in sickness! They won’t believe! Because you’d have a revelation or a testimony so rich but show up in wineskins!
Now imagine someone offers you a drink in a kaveera, with brown stains of dirty finger prints…and another gives you a rich finely shaped bottle sealed looking as if Four Cousins or Five! You’ll definitely choose the smart bottle even if its just soda!
How we represent ourselves is crucial if men are to enjoy the Fine Wine (New Power) God’s poured in Us!
That’s why Jesus said we place new wine in new bottles, so that men run to you as you’ll be a sparkling golden bottle! Instead of a fake wineskin kaveera!
